Service  Outpatient Anticoagulation Program

Description

Provides outpatient treatment for individuals diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis or stable pulmonary embolism. Care provided by internal medicine. Includes blood work, daily anticoagulating medicine injections and follow-up care until condition is stable enough to be followed up by family physician. Counselling available.
