Description
Provides a simple blood test to get important information about a newborn baby’s health including rare and treatable disorders. Newborn babies are screened between 24 and 48 hours old, either in hospital before discharge, or at home if a home birth with a registered midwife. Screening and early detection allows for treatment that may prevent or greatly reduce health problems.
