Provides assistance to Aboriginal children with special needs, and their families, who need
extra support to be included in child care settings and communities.

Support may include assistance finding child care, developmental screening and assessments, individual planning, training, support and consultation with families and child care programs, assistance accessing other community resources, and extra staffing support if needed in child care programs.

Program Delivery
Eligibility: Children aged 12 and under with developmental delay or disability. Services for children 13 - 19 may be provided on an individual basis. No diagnosis is required to receive services.
Languages: English
Application Process: Parents may self-refer or, with parent permission, referrals may come from family doctors, public health nurses, social worker, community or health professionals.
