A community-based group of family physicians working together towards common health care goals in the Thompson region including Kamloops, Barriere, Chase, Logan Lake, Cache Creek, and Ashcroft. The division undertakes various initiatives, projects or programs to address specific areas of primary care, administration, and physician support.
Kamloops residents looking for a family doctor or nurse practitioner should call HealthLinkBC at 8-1-1 to be placed on a waitlist. HealthLinkBC will also connect callers who are older adults, have complex medical needs, or have moderate to severe mental health and substance use concerns, to the appropriate Interior Health primary and community care services. Patients on the waitlist will be connected to a family doctor or nurse practitioner as they become available.
