The division works in partnership with Island Health, the General Practice Services Committee and the Ministry of Health to undertake various initiatives and projects to address specific areas of primary care, administration, and physician support.

Eligibility: Patients looking for a family doctor must be a resident of the Central Island health region and not be already attached to a family doctor or nurse practitioner in the community.
