Provides 24-hour telephone information on toxicity and treatment for exposure or poisoning from chemicals, medications or other substances. See website for non-urgent information on frequently asked poison questions and poison prevention materials.
The centre is staffed by specially trained pharmacists, nurses and physicians who can recommend first aid advice and help determine if the person needs to be seen in an emergency room.
